Anybody tell me where Compress gets the thickness of threaded couplings? I have always used (OD of cplg - OD of Pipe)/2 to get wall thickness.
For a 2" cplg this is 3" OD - 2.375" = .625"/2 = .3125" WT. Compress uses .3100". Using .3100" gives an ID of the coupling as 2.38"...over the 2.375" max for the UG-36(c)(3)(a)(-2) exemption. I now need a repad for the coupling.....
