Hi,

is it possible to use UG CAM modules to program a 6-axis robot?

I would like the tool path to follow different points : each one being specified by X, Y, Z and the 3 Euler angle values.
(it's a TIG welding application with filer wire, therefore I need the 3 rotations to have filer wire in the good direction, the travel direction)

As far as I understand it's not possible because CLSF specify X, Y Z and I, J, K : IJK being the orientation of the tool axis : the "spin" angle is not specify in Milling Operation...

Any proposal?

Hi,

I do not think it is impossible but it requires a lot of custom programing to get it going.

Suppose that is why they offer tecnomatix product called eM-Workplace PC (Robcad).
