While selecting any face/solid, I am experiencing quite a slow graphics performance response from UG. Everytime I place the cursor on a face with or without translucency, it takes about 5 seconds to become selected while it changes color from its face color to the active or selected color.

It is really annoying because it happens every single time I select a solid. I tried the "Visualization Performance" under "Preferences". Disabling Translucency and Backface Culling helps a little, but the problem is still there.

I have UG NX 6.0.2.8 64 bit on Windows 7 (64 bit too). The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT, which can handle DirectX 10.

Any help is much appreciated!

First go to...

Preferences -> Selection...

...and check the value of the 'Rollover Delay' setting in the 'Highlight' section of the dialog. Try setting it to '3'.
