What good could a user get by using NX Journal? When should it be used?

A Journal is like a keystroke-macro (only easier to edit and more 'durable') which you can use to capture common tasks or workflows so as to make them easier to perform again in the future. This is of particular usefulness if the task was tedious or something which has a certain level of complexity but which you don't perform often enough to have committed it to memory, this way you get NX to 'remember' it for you in the form of a Journal, which you can play-back any time that you wish.

If you look at the various threads in this forum you will find many of them discussion the creation and editing of Journals, many of which include sample 'code'. You should also review the NX Help files for additional information on creating and editing Journals.
