UG NX journal

Hi,
I am trying to using journal and dialog boxes to automate some information for the CAD models.
I have prior software knowledge but have never done anything in UG NX. Can anyone guide how can i start working with UG Journal features

Have you actually tried making a journal yet? At what stage are you in the process of learning?

Not yet. I have no clue how to start. I checked some NX help files, but without any practical examples it was hard to interpret. I need to learn from the start.

Can you give an example of a process you want to automate? If you can clearly state this, then maybe we can try to help you get there.

Start by turning on the Journal tool bar, and learning to record, edit, and play a journal.
