UG NX Linux plot produces no output

Hello,
I'm using UG NX6 and would like to print some drawings to file. The linux version does not have the "print" option, only "export" and "plot". Exporting an image (basically a screen shot) is possible, but is a rather poor method for making technical drawings.

The File->Plot command opens a window where I can chose to plot to a number of image file formats. I have tried tiff, jpeg, and png to no avail.

When I press plot, UG creates ~/print_submit/seth-R/sess_0/ which contains two files "lock_file" and "output". seth-R is the computer name. lock_file is empty, but output contains:

Two things strike me here. 1) it seems that it can't find the printer, so just aborts. 2) it is using a "System Profile," but does not indicate where that file is or how it can be edited.

Has anybody seen this before? Do you know where I can edit the plot system profile? Plot works on my linux laptop, but not on this desktop.
