UG NX3 BOM

Is it possible in UGNX3 bom's (parts list) to delete a part from an assembly but not reorder the items, meaning if I delete item 4 and I had 7 items in my part list, item 4 disapears but all other items keep their original item number?

Yes, you have to lock the cloumns.
