UG NX4 export to Parasolid 17

Has anyone been able to export a UG NX4 file to a Parasolid 17 format? I can export UG NX4 to PS 16 and all previous formats but can not do so nor do I see an option for exporting the file to parasolid 17. Any ideas?

Is NX4 built using Parasolids 16 or 17?
I would expect that it cannot export to a newer version.
A newer version (or system built with a newer version)should be able to read the older version export file.

I will have to look into this, I believe that UG NX3 was built with Parasolid 16 and assumed that NX4 was with Parasolid 17 but I could easily be mistaken. If anyone is able to confirm this either way it would also be of great help and would save me time from searching for a solution to a problem that does not even exist.

If you have NX4 installed, you can check the Parasolid version by clicking Help -> About then I believe it's a button called System Information on the About dialog that you want to click in order to get your own system info about NX, etc.

According to John Baker, NX4 is supposed to export Parasolid v17.0. I pointed out to him that the capability in NX4.0.0.25 is not there currently. His response, and I quote:

"AARGH!

I will open a PR."

I hope that this at least helps in the fact that you can stop looking for it, for now.
