Hi again,

Has anyone had this problem? I previously had a postscript queue defined on our system to create a file to convert to PDF in Ghostview.

We were on WINNT. We upgraded to Win2K. I recreated the Postscript queue in PQMGR. Eveything looks good. But when I submit the plot it never creates a file or leaves the queue.

Does anyone have any hints on what could be causing this? I tried several variations but nothing seems to get a Postscript file now.

And thanks again for the previous printer advice. All of those are working again.

Thanks again guys!!!

Did you enable the PQMGR to use an administrator account for startup?

I created the Plot queue as Admin. Is there something extra that needs to be done in the queue to enable it to use the Admin account? I read thru the doc and didnt see anything right away that mentioned this.

I must have inadvertantly enabled it the last time before our upgrade. Cant seem to track it down this time. I'll search the doc some more but if you have a quick pointer it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Ben.

Hey Ben,

I just got it. I forgot to put the Domain/Administrator login in the service. I just had it set to Administrator. You got me looking in the right area again.

This forum is fantastic. Glad I stumbled onto it.

Thanks again!!!
