UGENS/VUGENS: how to define the section behavior of shell element in ABAQUS explicit analysis?

dear all,

I'm trying to analyze the pure bending behavior of a woven fiber shell element(S4R), and I need to introduce subroutine to define the section behavior. But why abaqus does not have VUGENS for a explicit analysis, only UGENS is available for a standard analysis to define the section behavior?

or is there some methods that we could transfer UGENS to VUGENS?
