Hi all,
I am working in NX managed mode. I had set UGII_USER_DIR for integration with managed NX. The problem is that even after setting UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS explicitly, saved assemblies load option not showing changed values when "Assemblies Load Options" dialogue open. If I clicked "Restore Default" then it shows saved load option correctly. My issue is why saved default assemblies load settings not showing when dialogue box open?

Steps done
1) Set UGII_USER_DIR where integration dll is present
2) Set UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS
3) Open nx is managed mode. Changed assemblies load option from "As saved" to "Define or Load option". The time stamp of file path set with UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS has changed. That is default settings has changed. Good.
4) Clicked "saved as default" and apply
4) Reopen the NX
5) THE problem : Launch "Assembles load option" dialogue. Instead of getting "Define or Load option" in UI, I am getting entry as "As saved"
6) IF I click reload default then I am getting "Define or Load option"

So Why, Launch "Assembles load option" dialogue not showing changed default setting when launched. If I remove UGII_USER_DIR, then I am getting changed default option..

I think this is due to "dialog memory" , i.e when you set a value in a menu and leave that menu with OK this setting in that menu will be saved to :
C:\Users\Tomas\AppData\Local\Siemens\NX120\DialogMemory.dlx
- if you are running NX12 and your name is Tomas :)
Try change the value interactively , then exit NX ( the dialogmemory.dlx will be written when exiting) delete or rename this file, then start a new session and check the setting.
I think that it now will read the ugii_load_Option file.

Tomas

Thanks Tomas,
I have cleared the Appdata still no luck. And done all steps mentioned by you. I am wondering why after setting UGII_USER_DIR = "" solves my issue. Any thoughts around it ?
