UGNX 8 crashes during preview operations...

New Dell M6700 with ATI FirePro M6000 2GB video card.

When inserting a part with "mating conditions" on. Preview window pops up.
UG CRASHES to the ground every single time.

Same thing when making drafting views and a window is used to orient the model.
UG CRASHES. Though only sometimes.

AutoCad is unstable too. The video driver just stops working... then recovers.

Latest Driver from Dell installed.... I've also tried three previous versions.

ALL FAIL

Looks like there are no NX certified drivers for this yet.

Anyone else out there having this same trouble?

My gut told me to get Nvidia like I always have... good thing this isn't a daily machine!

Definitely sounds like a graphics card/driver issue since the workflows you've described all depend on temporarily opening a secondary graphics window. BTW, I'll bet that if you do a dynamic section of a model and you toggle-on the optional '2D Viewer' window you'll experience another 'crash' (I only mention this since it might be another thing to test, but it failing would only reinforce my suspicion that it's a driver issue).

I'm sure your right John and it's good I'm not dependent on this thing.

With no certified driver I'll probably just spend all I saved on this ATI on dependable Nvidia graphics.
