UGNX5 Information window cannot be displayed 1

Not sure why my information window will no longer display, I have reset my role and restored my layout and haven't had any luck. In NX3 this used to happen with the tracking bar and we would resolve this by using preferences~ user interface. Does anyone know how to get the inforamtion window back?

Resetting or changing your Roles will have no effect whatsoever, however, resetting your layout...

Preferences -> User Interface... -> Layout(tab) -> Settings -> Reset Window Position

...should have solved the problem.

Sometimes, the Information windon can be inadvertently dragged down under the Start bar on a Windows machine. It may be minimized or dragged down very small. This makes NX look as though the Info window in not coming up (it really is).

Move the Windows Start bar to the left/right/top and see if the Info window is hiding under where your Start bar originally was
