Does anyone have any information regarding the creation of mandatory Appendix 41?
a) Why was it not incorporated into UHX which is a very similar application?
b) I have been told that using App. 41 will allow the use of standard ANSI flanges with their full B16.5 temperature/pressure ratings. Does this make sense especially since the elements do not contribute to the strength of the support plate?
