UL/FM approval

Please somebody tell me , all equipments (valves ,pumps, pressure regulators )in the fire fighting pump station should have a UL/FM approval or not.

It depends on the installation and is typically determined by the insurance underwriters. For example, if the installation is military, which is self insured, UL/FM stickers are not usually required. If the installation is backed by a private insurer, they will typically required UL/FM approval.

When I worked in the fire industry, the requirement for UL/FM approval / stickers (or not) was always on the customers order.
