Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Specification for pipe and or Buttweld Fittings

Hello
Is there an ASTM or ASME Specification on how to perform Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Measurements on Carbon, Stainless or Alloy Pipe or Buttweld Fittings? Some kind of Spec that tells you if you find an area on the pipe that is below minimum wall thickness.

ASTM E797 to tell you what exactly? The product specification gives the thickness tolerances to work to.
