This might be obvious, but it has come up as a possible problem in an evaluation on Inventor.
We need to design a tube say 1m dia x 3m long x 8mm wall thickness.
The tube has some stub branches, say 350mm dia, let into it at various positions.
How easy, or not, is it for Inventor to un-fold the model tube so we end up with a flat plate with elliptical holes that can be profiled out on our plasma and be accurate when the profiled plate is put through the rolls and made into a tube?
