I haven't heard of this before. I would try to do a test. Try to export sub assemblies. Or try half of the parts at a time until to find what area has the problem.

If you are using Teamcenter please let tell us. It would make a difference. There are a few things that teamcenter can do which in the past caused problems with creating JT files.

Best Regards

I´m not using teamcenter.

I try to do it deparatly (half assembly separatly) but i couln´t do both.

howerver there was a subassembly where every seems to export perfecly but when opening the jt top file , only part of the file were converted.

this might be a serious problem since we lost control of what part are really export (even when export seems to went fine).

Assemblies should not have a JT created. The components all should have JTs created and the assemblies a collection of those. In the Teamcenter world, the BOM would dictate the components and the revision rule which version of the components. When you create a JT file for the assembly you essentially lock in the component version. Not a good behavior.

This is true in Native also, Only component JTs. The assemblies should be a bookmark or something similar. Sorry but I don't remember how it is handled in native.
