Unable to do Knowledgeware Report Generation in XML

Knowledgeware >Knowledge Expert: Attempting to create Check Report in XML. The settings in Tools->Options->General->Parameter and Measures->Report Generation were set to XML.

But when generating the report, it is still in HTML. This was tried in R16 and R17. Is there something that I am missing? Please help.
