I defined a sketch plane by 2 lines, went into the sketcher, and I tried to put a radius between these 2 lines. Now I cannot pick them. When I hover over the lines, I get that pesky black circle with the minus sign in it. I tried the sketch analysis tool, and it is empty. Can anyone please suggest what I am screwing up?

Please see the attached picture.

BTW how do I put a picture straight into this email, like some wiz folks do?

or use the new "upload image" icon instead of the "picture"

you need to project the line in your sketch to use them in the sketch for geometry creation.

yes.the two lines are in a different sketch. u need to project them to be able to use them.all the best.

Thanks for your interest guys.

No, the 2 lines are not in the sketch. I used the 2 lines to create a plane (wireframe/plane/two lines.. pick line 1 and 2) Ok so I got a plane. Then I want to sketch on this plane. All I want to do is put a radius between these line. I also took your advice, and projected the 2 lines on the new plane before entering the sketcher, but i still cannot pick.

use project inside the sketch using sketch tools.also u can connect curves in GSD without any sketches. search for connect curve

Thanks Jenial. Could you please explain a bit more.

I am not in sheet metal GSD. This part is created with start/mechanical design/wireframe and then start/mechanical design/part.

The horizontal curves and lines seem to be working fine. What is the best way to curve the horizontal curve vertically upwards and then put a rib along this curve. The rib works well on the bottom horizontal curve, I just cannot get the darn thing to climb up

GSD-generative shape design. in GSD use

in sketch use

then you will be able to use fillet

What does this mean? The bottom line is fine, the top/vertical is the non connex.
