Hello,
This is my first post on this forum. I am a new user running NX 8.5. I have searched for information regarding this and came across a few threads but none answered my question. I am trying to cut a back spotface, and I am getting some pretty decent cutter paths using planar mill (finish walls). Although the order of depth cuts is not what I would like. I would like to start with the lowest cut depth and work back up (as this undercut has no floor, just a ceiling). I know that this can be done with mill contour but those toolpaths seem overly complicated for what I am trying to do (the feature is simple geometry with planar surfaces). So my question is if it is possible to cut from the bottom up using planar mill. Thanks.
