Hi All,
I had a couple of questions with regards to UFAD systems -
Q.1 Have there ever been instances where open office areas required supplementary cooling units, in addition to relying on base build AHU system to take care of the sensible loads in the space?
Q.2 Typically, with overhead systems, conference rooms usually end up with a supplementary fan coil unit for sensible cooling however, is there a different approach for UFAD systems in this instance?
Q3. what type of supplementary cooling units can be used for UFAD applications? I cant seem to find any form of fan coil units that can be used for UFAD applications, mainly, with regards to having supply air temperatures off the cooling coil at higher temperatures for UFAD application (eg between 16-18 deg C).
Apologies if these appear to be noob or stupid questions - just trying to learn something new here. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
