I have a tank that was installed underground with no cathodic protection, no ASME stamps, 200 psig at 250 psig, 1946 manufacture date. within 49 cfr 192 jurisdiction and NFPA 58 2014 ed. to me the tank looks to be out of compliance in regard to missing data plate info. does anyone have experience with u69 vessels? i typically see ASME tanks. Thank u for any help!

Well U69 is still an ASME BPV code vessel - see page 83.

What you have sounds very high risk to me and possibly illegal.

Where is this and what jurisdiction does it come under?

But I can't understand how you are operating a pressure vessel which is nearly 80 years old if you have no certified information or data plate.

As with other similar questions I think you don't have a PV, you have a lump of scrap metal without some sort of documentation and current inspection.

A few more details would help though.

Remember - More details = better answers

All depends where you are in NY. Check out NB Synopsis 370. Will tell you what your jurisdiction requires. For ex. NY, NY requires no U stamp.
