Respected ABAQUS Users,
I am doing cyclic displacement controlled tensile test by input of displacemetn amplitude but taking the response at the reference point for the RF3 and U3 in the direction of load is showing that the output reaction displacement is totally different from the applied one and there is a lack of yielding of specimen with reduced hysteresis loop area. why? The cae file is attached here with the job name "lameltensioncyclic".

Thanks for cooperation

Request this as a history output written every increment, further reduce the increment size and remember to multiply the amplitude by the BC magnitude when plotting it for comparison. Then you should get good agreement.

Respecetd FEA way, Is there some other way to multiply the amplitude with boundary condition as I think that when we set value of BC constraint like displacement it should automatically multiplied to created amplitude. But here I am also facing the problem of getting the values of applied net displacement or deflection some time more than or less than the applied ones""apmlitude multiplied by displacemetn constrain" Why is it so?
Thanks

I meant multiplying it by the magnitude if you are creating an XY plot of the amplitude to compare it with the results.

If you reduce the increment size (e.g. to 0.01), you will have more points for history output. The results between them will be just linearly interpolated and you can check them in the plot by enabling the "Interpolate between points" option when using Probe Values on the XY plot.
