Hello,

At our repair shop we just received an water cooled italian motor for repair, it is used for stone cutting.
Motor Nameplate - Motor nameplate

Our bearing suppliers here in Bulgaria doesn't sound confident in knowing what exactly are these bearings.

At the DriveEnd there is set of 2 absolutely the same bearings, their type is:
T 7014 CTSULP3
RHP

They are two absolutely the same bearings working in parralel with bushing (sleeve) between them and with arrows pointing outside (please check the photo below)

The bearing letters (numbers) are faceing each other in the inner side (the side of the bushing (sleeve))

What are these bearings?
What does all these letters mean?
Can you tell me their SKF alternative?

The dimensions of one of the bearings are:

d (inner diam) =70mm
D (out. diam) =110mm
B (width) = 20mm

I am founding similar bearings but with different letters, with most conjunctions is T7014CTDULP3.
So the only difference is "S" / "D"?
This is high accuracy bearing, which is VERY expensive for 18kW motor, so I am trying to find everything about this bearing then choosing the best offer from our suppliers.

Thank you in advance!

G'day elinBG...Here in Australia,that bearing is known as a 6014....Have another chat to your bearing supplier,sounds like he may need it..

NSK merged with / absorbed RHP Bearings about 20-ish years ago. They should be able to decipher that code easily enough.

Hello,

Unfortunately they dont have official distributor in Bulgaria ...or a distributor with the needed knowlege.

However after a day of reading/searching I almost found all bearing details
Page 37
But it is still not 100% "translated"
T7014CTSULP3 - RHP
I am kidding about what does the first "T" stands for?

However the only bearing which the traders in Bulgaria have in stock, which they say is the same is:

7014 CTRV1VSULP3 NSK

...

Hello elinBG

Seems like a vertical mounted motor, IMO if the motor shaft is not too heavy(special designed) you don´t need an special or precision bearing, you can use two SKF 7014 C (is an Angular Contact ball bearing).

The most important is you conserve the mounting of two bearings and you will not have problems."The bearing letters (numbers) are faceing each other in the inner side (the side of the bushing (sleeve))". Please take a look in photo and you will see one mark in each bearing. See attachment.

T7014CTSULP3 seems like manufacturer designation for the complete arrangment of this two bearings like just one unit.

Best Regards

Carlos

Hello elin BG,

I have found more information about symbols and letters:

70 = Bearing Series

14= Bore number

C= Contact Angle Symbol

T= Outer ring guided phenoic resin cage

SU = Arrangment symbol

L= Preload Symbol

P3= Accuracy symbol

Regards

Carlos

Hello,

Thank you for your answer, I Found all the needed information. The only thing which is still unknown is the first letter "T", before 7014

The "T" is the RHP designation for Ultra High Speed bearings. Basically it has smaller balls than a standard Super Precision bearing giving it higher limiting speeds.
NSK will stock this, just ask your bearing distributor.
