Is it possible to simulate the thrust of a fan? basicaly I need to create a fan with a specific thrust and see how it behave inside a specific box. but furst I need to experiment the correct fan size e propeler.
So if you're asking if you can do CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) analysis with NX, the answer is yes, but you will need to buy the NX Flow module first.
ok. but there is any tutorial on how to do it? I mean, I know how to do stress tests, but I don't know how to "tell" NX to rotate the propeler and analyse the flow of air..
If you have an old copy of CAST there are training examples of thermal and flow examples. ( last version of CAST is NX8.5)
In NX9 CAST is replaced by Learning advantage, ( quite similar courses if not identical to CAST but online only.)
