uninstalling NX5

I have installed NX3, NX5 in my workstation,
Now I am planning to upgrade to NX6. So I would like to uninstall NX5 and keep NX3 and install NX6. If I uninstall NX5, will this affect NX3 (files)also?

Please share your comments in this matter.

It probably will effect NX3 as environment variables (UGII_ROOT_DIR and UGII_BASE_DIR) will be deleted. Depending on how you're launching NX3, that may, or may not, be an issue.

However, by subsequently installing NX6, the variables will be recreated.

There shouldn't be an any issues ;-)
