Industrial warehouse building is adding a large cold kitchen to an area of the building.

The cold kitchen will have drop ceiling, although I'm not entirely sure of the architectural details at this point.

There's an existing electric unit heater above where the cold kitchen will go.

Would it be best to move this unit heater so it's not above the cold kitchen?

How far above? If it's a few feet, I'm not sure why it would matter. It will heat the rest of the warehouse, correct? I wouldn't worry about it. They'll probably have insulation on top of the dropped ceiling anyway.

If there is roof above, there could be a chance of freezing a sprinkler line without the heater. Would need to know more info. If by "cold" kitchen you mean refrigerated, there will have to be insulated panels. Heat from the unit heater should have no impact.
