Unmodified objects showing as changed in Pro/I 3.0

Has anyone experienced this phenomenon?
A scenario... Open an assembly, save it and some of the unmodified objects show as modified in my workspace...

My Save_Objects = Changed. And does RELAT_MARKS_OBJ_MODIFIED = NO still apply?

If anyone can explain this to me ( PTC tried and failed ), please respond.

Well I have to say I had this same problem. It took me about 3 months of E-mailing with our Rand customer service to solve this problem and I still don't know if they know why it works. But the relat_marks_obj_modified=no and save_objects=changed combination worked for us s-) s-)

The only time I have experienced this problem is when the asm and the parts have similar layering conventions. If you were to select all layers in the asm and blank/display them, then hit save status, also causing the save status to be selected in the parts causing the objects to show up as modified.
