I often have problems with getting products made in the US that were designed in the UK? Machine shops are always asking for substitute materials. I prefer to use what's specified whenever possible.

In this case UNS C72420. Where can I get it from? If no where in the US, then what high strength bronze can I replace it with? I need it's 80ksi minimum tensile strength, its level of corrosion resistance, and resistance to gall against 17-4 stainless.

Any help would be appreciated.

You may need to purchase material from the UK sources and supply it to your machine shops.

I don't know of a US producer, maybe you can find a specialty distributor that handles it.
