uns s31803-s322205 production standards

Is in your opinion much of the s31803 duplex material (F51) sold with double certification to also cover the UNS S32205 (F60) type? Nowadays? Do a lot of steel mills produce the UNS S31803 that not also satisfies uns S32205 requirements?

I would hope that this number is near zero.
The tighter chemistry of S32205 is very much needed to meet performance expectations.
In North America, Western Europe, and parts of Asia this is the case.
And all duplex SS should also be ordered with A923C testing.
Don't allow a 'pass' based on microstructure.
And make sure that they are doing the test correctly, it is different form a G48.
