Urgent/415V soft starter in lv side of step up Transformer

I am in very urgent situation to start a 3.3kv motor ,
I have 1500kva source
415V to 3.3KV step up transformer
3.3kv 425kw motor.
I cant buy 3.3kv soft starter now ..
I have 415V , 2000amps soft starter ,
Can I install the soft starter in 415V side of step up transformer and control the inrush current?

Yes, this will work well. I have done this numerous times including 2.7MW 6.6KV from 440V.
