[urgent]Cohesive element local directions

does anyone have an implemented algorithm to get the local directions of a cohesive element (see: Analysis user manual, chap. 1.2.2)?
I am having some problems with the first local dir, there may be a bug in the code somewhere, but it's difficult to actually verify in abaqus that the vector is correct.
