Could anyone tell me what the coefficient of static friction for inconel on inconel is? and/or coeffecient of kinetic friction at high temperatures ~ 800 F. Thanks

An estimate for static CofF at room T would be 0.5. No idea about high temps. Try the General Magnaplate website for more CofF data-- they have quite a bit. Try a technical inquiry to Special Metals (producer of Inconel alloys) for high temp data.
