Re : on the cutting parameters page in a planar mill toolpath, USE 2d IPW.
Is there anyone out there that uses this?
Please educate me, as a test I generated an op with a 1.0 cutter, the geometry has internal corners. I then cut the same area with a .5 cutter and turn on "use 2d ipw", there is not apparent affect. If I select the reference tool option the toolpath only cuts the corners.

How do I save a "2d ipw" to use?

Hi Franklin M,
As far as I know, 2D IPW has the purpose to provide a blank boundary(Geometry) for the next planar operation blank boundary.
So you do not need to create a new curve/sketch or specify edges of the blank solid to define the blank boundary.

Hopefully, this short description will help you.
