Use of 5% Phosphoric Acid and Stainless Steel

I know that phosphoric acid can be dangerous when it comes in contact with stainless steel if its at a high concentration, but from what I've researched, a concentration of 1-5% should not be a problem. However, I need to run the system at a temperature of 180F and from 2000-4000 psig. Does anyone know what affect this will have on the stainless steel or even where I can look to find out? Thanks for any help you can give!

for a rough idea you could buy a copy of the Compas Corrosion Guide.
For more detailed info there is a series of books published by MTI called the Materials Selector. One of the volumes deals with such acids.

How clean (pure) is the acid? Small amounts of Cl, F, and metals can really accelerate corrosion. My hunch is that you will need to use Alloy 20 or 825 to have any chance. I don't know about the temperature though. I am positive that 304/316 will not work.
