Dear Sirs,
Your kind help with a doubt.
We are designing a small diameter piping system for water steam distribution(<2"<220psi<400ºF) to be used in the USA (not any particular state).
We are designing as per ASME B31.3 the piping system.
Because of special process reasons, we need to use a special type of Angle Seat Piston Pneumatic valve that is not designed by / in accordance to any ASME CODE (It is designed with a German design code), thus we have no certificate stating compliance with any ASME code for this valve.
What we do have is a Canadian CSA certificate for these type of valve, issued by the Service de l´inspection de la fabrication d'appareils sous pression in Montreal, Canada, stating that according to the Canadian law respecting pressure vessels, the valve complies and is acecpted for its use withing the operating range stated by the manufacturer.
Would appreciate to receive some comments on potential acceptance of such certificate within USA, and what would be the right process to evaluating to which extent it is possible or not to use the valve within USA (not any particular state, but rather in any state).
Thank you very much for your kind help,
Rt
With kindest regards,
