use spring or other connections in variable directions

Dear all,
I want to create a spring connection between to points. but, spring works only in on direction (direct of line
between to point) .
when i stretch spring in other directions, it doesn't work and system get error.
do you know how can i use spring or other connections(like axial connection) in variable directions?

what spring element do you use ? Seems SPRINGA

I use this instraction:
inteaction module> special> spring/dashpot> connect two point

then, I select two points in Y direction, but when I apply load in X direction or other direction, job get error.

To find out the element type please open the input file with an editor and search for *element,type=spring....
