In my spare time I'm tring to search though differnt operators/commands thatour organisation isn't using and see if we can use them to address various problems we're having.

so I've decided to check out user defined features.

Problem is I don't have access to write to the default directories and therefore canot create any UDFs to try out.

is there a way for me to ste up a temporary directoryto save my UDFs in?

Hi,
this is my opinion, but UDF's features are obsolete, replaced by the reuse library.

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC8.3

Reuse doen't seem to offer what I;m looking for and the on context help isn't

If you change the "start in" folder for NX it will save the UDF file to that folder.

Copy the NX icon onto your desk top

right click on the icon and select properties

on the shortcut tab enter the start in path.

When you create a udf it will store it there , at least that's how it works for me on Win7 NX 6

Hi,
are you sure that reuse library can't offer what you need ?
Please post a better description or file or image of what you need.

Thank you...
