Hi,
I need suggestions on modeling four poster test or shaker table for Excavator
is it feasible to get some quality output if I have test data from running vehicle.
I have accumulated acceleration data on idler and sprocket centers and cabin engine mounts
Is it possible to simulate running vehicle on four poster orshaker table.

I have built the ADAMS view model with 4 cylinders and table. with rods having spherical joints with table and cylinders are connected to ground with high stiffness bushings.
I am able to feed random displacement data to 4 posts.
Please guide whether this works

I think you'll run into problems with the tire model, and personally I'd have recorded far more data than that - force in, acceleration in, and wheelhubs, for example.

Having said that yes I have had some good results with that approach, for low frequencies.

Cheers

Hello Greg,
Thanks for your reply

As excavator dont have tires it is having tracks wraped on idler, rollers and sprockets.
I am able to capture data for sprocket and idler only as a input not on rollers

I wnder if data at rooler is missing so whether i am proving all inputs from ground.
