We have EDSA and use it for Loadflow/Fault Level/Short Circuit and Harmonics.

We are interested in upgrading to dynamic package but would like to get a feel for the pros/cons of using EDSA for this purpose.

Thanks in advance.

All power system analysis softwares i.e., EDSA, ETAP, CYME....etc has pros/cons when it comes to the application and operation of the software in the dynamic analysis. Users sometimes says that it is easier to use one over the other.

In fact, they are only tools to avoid tedious manual calculations power system analysis, for as long as you know the basic of ohms law, kirchoff's law, thevenin's law or whatever laws in the electricity, application and operation of the softwares are all equal. No pros, no cons.
