Hello,
I’m not an ANSYS user (I’m a ProM user), but will be one soon. My conundrum is that in the near future I will be getting data from a “force transducer hammer / response” shock test in the form of transfer function maybe in magnitude vs frequency. I have seen some animation done by ANSYS using the transfer function data to simulate the mode shapes of the structure.
My question is, how do you import the transfer function into ANSYS to certain nodes to simulate what the response accelerometers picked up during the test?
Typically ME Scope is used to “see” the different mode shapes in a wire frame cartoon, but it would be nice to see a 3D animation and also do the stress analysis using the same data.
Thank you in advanced for your time and thoughts.
