Hi,
I would like to use normalized concentration (NNC) which was computed in previous simulation as a predefined field in new mass diffusion simulation. As far I know it is not possible in Abaqus CAE (6.11-1)

So I modified my input file based on 'static_temp_nnc_epot_2d' example:

**
** MATERIALS
**
** mat1
*Material, name=Material-1
*Diffusivity, law=FICK
0.0027,0.
*Solubility
1.,
*Initial Conditions, Type=Field,file=DiffusionJob-1.odb, step=1, inc=100, variable=1, output variable=nnc
**
** STEP: Step-1
**
*Step, name=Step-1
*Mass Diffusion, end=PERIOD, dcmax=100.
10., 1000., 0.1, 10.,
*Field,file=DiffusionJob-1.odb, variable=1, output variable=nnc

In dat file I can notice:

***NOTE: Initial conditions will be taken from step 1, increment 100 of the
output database file c:/Abaqus_Simulations/DiffusionJob-1.odb

But initial concentration in second simulation is still equal 0.

What do I miss?
