Using Path Selection with multiple views active in NX11

I'm able to use "Path Selection" when selecting curves or edges when only one window is active. However, I'd like to be able to run my application with two windows active, i.e. using one window zoomed in on reference geometry, while selecting curves on similar geometry in another window. Creating a new window disables "Path Selection".

Is there a way to enable "Path Selection" with multiple views? Or is there another selection method I could explore?

Thanks in advance.

Recommended for you

View -> Layout -> Open -> pick the number of views you want open
Then you can pick entities from any of the available model views
When you do this the first time you probably want to use two views (upper and lower worked nicely for me)
If you want to rotate the views just pick it first then rotate it
View -> Layout -> Replace View to change one of the views to something else.

Thanks Jerry for your reply but the Path Selection becomes unavailable with layouts also. [sad]
