I've been putting together my fist HydroCAD model for the subdrainage at a synthetic turf soccer field and I had a question regarding exfiltration on the gravel trenches.
Specifically, we have perforated subdrainage lines in gravel trenches at varying invert elevations where BOTH the pipe and the trench slopes.
The only way I found to model the sloped gravel trenches was to define them first as "box" pipe storage with the trench dimensions input as the "size" of the box pipe and then adding a void ratio and then ADDING the round drainlines as embedded objects in the box pipe.
While this works great for calculating the stage-storage of the "pond" I did notice that the check box for the "exfiltration" option in the "box" pipe was greyed out??
My question is, Is it possible to "enable" exfiltration in pipe storage to allow for a portion of the water accumulating in the perforated subdrainage lines to infiltrate directly through the perf. lines and gravel filled "box pipe" trenches?
Or perhaps there is another way to model this situation that I have overlooked?
