Hey all,

I'm trying to create some user-customizable 80/20 extrusions using part flexibility. The part allows the user to define extrusion length, as well as suppress or resume anchor counterbores (A, B, C, D, etc). I want to create a local parameter (something like END1 and END2) that outputs which anchor counterbores are resumed at each end of teh extrusion for the bill of materials (ie END1 = ABEF if those specific counterbores are not suppressed at that end).

I figured I could somehow use the function "exists," but I can't seem to figure out what to use as the argument. I tried using the feature name, feature ID, and feature number, but maybe I'm not entering it in the correct format? I also tried just having it check to see if a dimension related to each individual counterbore exists, but that doesn't seem to care if the feature is suppressed or not.

Anyone have some suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Are you using pro/program?(Tools,Program) You can suppress features by expression there.
