Hello,
I have been tasked with using Slide 5.0 to analyze a bearing capacity failure of a spread footing on weathered-rock. I really want the program to spit out a nize Terzaghi/Prandtl failure shape but cannot figure out a way to do it. At this point I am drawing the failure surface by hand to have the program solve it that way, but really want it to generate it on its own. My soil parameters are very basic at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Nate

Nateshoe - please do not double post . . . It is frowned on and you may find one or both of them deleted. Almost all geotechs read all the geotech threads . . . Cheers and welcome to the site.
