We are using K3PO4 + H2O in a grinding process as coolant/lubricant. I was told the reason of using such a coolant/lubricant is to prevent carbon pickup (caused by using cutting oil). Has any one have experience with such a lubricant in grinding or machining. Would the solution loses it lubricity after some uses? I would like to know your experience and hear other alternatives.

Thanks!
