Our company is currently putting all of our Inventor models and drawings into Vault. Just before this I was in the process of customizing the Inventor Content Library to reflect our part numbers that we use for standard fasteners/o-rings/etc.. I put that library into Vault but now when I want use a bolt/screw/... it won't let me edit the database. When I try configuring the library comes up as "read-only" even with all parts checked as editable.
I thought about editing all on the library before I put it into Vault but... since doing it all at once takes a long time, plus I was only going to do the ones I needed (and it's not always clear what you will need), therefore when doing an assembly I edit the fastener I'm going to use just before I put it in.
Is there another way? Has anyone successfully mapped a editable Content Library using Vault? Does anyone else customize their Content Library like this?
