The Caesar II V5.0 help files indicate that the list spreadsheet can be edited using standard windows commands like cut and paste. I have not been able to get this to work. I've tried using Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, etc. to no avail. Any suggestions?

Ideally I would like to edit this form just like an Excel spreadsheet and select multiple cells and paste data into them. Is this possible?

Yes and No. You should be able to "cut", "copy", and "paste" one cell. However, this seems to have gone "down hill" recently due to a focus problem. The "copy" operation is actually copying the graphics display to the clip-board, not the contents of the LIST cell. We'll get that one fixed.

We've never really set things up where you could copy a matrix of cells, say 5 rows by 6 columns. The reason being the columns typically represent different types of data, and if you pasted over "non-like" data, you'd really foul up the model. There are arguments for allowing this ability in certain situations. We just have to figure out a way were we only allow the paste operation if it makes sense. (For example, you wouldn't want to drop DX values on the T1 column, etc.)
